Kylie has been around horses since before she could walk. Kylie’s dad was a racehorse jockey and her mum is one of the leading breeders of Halter Quarter Horse in Australia. Kylie has been breeding, riding and competing with Quarter horses and Paint Horses since she was a youth and achieved both State and National championship titles in Australia along with a reserve youth world championship in the USA. She graduated from Sydney University in 2009 with her final year rotations including the University of Pennsylvania Large Animal Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Kentucky Equine Services USA. Kylie also spent some time at Roya Southwest Vista in Oklahoma USA where she gained invaluable skills in embryo transfer and advanced equine reproduction.

Kylie started at HEVC in January 2010. Kylie is the hospital superintendent and also manages the embryo transfer programme with Dr Cris Clark. HEVC’s success rate in transferring grade 1 embryos is now above 90%.  Kylie’s main interests include Advance reproduction in the mare, internal medicine and foal intensive care.
